Suction and vacuum transport of swarf with an aeraulic network
SFH designs and manufactures chips processing lines dedicated to increasing their value in recycling channels and to re-using cutting fluids.
Our assets
Vacuum suction at high speed allows the transport of chips by air for automated transfer to the collecting area.
The main advantages are:
- The possibility to segregate materials.
- Suitable for all standard metallic materials.
- The removal of trolleys and time for handling, No worker costs for handling.
- Optimization of storage space and space next to production machines.
- At any time, the installations are easily adaptable to the workshop structure.
- Recovery and re-use of your cutting fluids.
- Optional - shredder : in case of long or snarled balls chips , the suction units are equipped with a chip crusher to reduce the volume and a foreign parts ejector system.
- With the option chip compacting units, you optimize the global managing of your swarf.
- A higher value resale for your compacted chips, for their valorization in recycling channel thanks to chips densification.
- Environmental requirements compliance and and increased workers safety.
- Promote an environmentally responsible brand.

How is composed a aeraulic chip suction system ?

- Storage of crushed chips in a station directly at the outlet of the machine conveyor of your lathes, millings machines , CNC.
Here with shredder SFH400.

Each unit stores and evacuates the chips thanks to the dilution of chips in a volume of air and a connection valve to the pipeline system.
- Avoid any risk of clogging the piping.
- Maximizes network life by reducing abrasion.
- Low noise and energy consumption.

- The pipes will be made of galvanized steel with long radius bends to reduce friction.
- The pipes will be mounted end-to-end by removable junction flanges with Viton sealing system.
- In base the dimensioning of the aeraulic transport process is defined to allow an aspiration up to 650 kg/h at a speed of 30 to 40 m/sec around a relative vacuum of -300 to 350 mbar in a pipe DN 80mm of 400 Meters (others specifications on demand).
The piping networks are easily upgradable (machine relocation, production facility expansion, new chip materials, …).

Chips recovery
The system is connected to a centralized aero called the treatment area on a cyclonic separator that will receive the oil-soaked chips.
The emptying of the chips will be done by a valve in continuous operation, equipped with a rotary sensor.
The vacuum generation is provided by a booster set screw providing vacuum around a relative vacuum in a pipe.
The chips will then be recovered in the compactor storage hopper to compact it (with briquetting presses) or a centrifuge to dry it , or directly in a ampliroll bin via an automatic distribution chute.
In base, we propose a cyclonic separation technology with air filtration at 25μ (external discharge).
